Privacy Policy

At Comfort and Hope Bereavement Support, we know that talking about loss takes trust. We’re here to offer a safe, caring space—and that includes looking after your personal information with respect and sensitivity.

What We Collect

We only collect a little information, such as:

  • Your name and how to contact you
  • Anything you choose to share about your situation
  • A simple record of attendance at sessions

You never have to share more than you feel comfortable with.

How We Use It

We use your information to:

  • Keep in touch about meetings and support
  • Help us support you in the best way we can
  • Make sure everyone in the group feels safe and cared for

We will never use your details for marketing or share them with others for that purpose.

Confidentiality

What you share with us is treated with care and kept confidential. Our volunteers understand how important this is.

We gently ask everyone who attends to respect each other’s privacy too.

Very occasionally, we may need to share information if we’re concerned about someone’s safety or if the law requires us to—but we would always aim to handle this with care.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We store information securely, and only a small number of trusted volunteers can access it. We don’t keep it longer than we need to.

Your Choices

You’re always in control. You can ask to see, update, or remove your information at any time—just let us know.
